  • 8 oz salmon fillet, skin on preferably wild-caught for the best flavor
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced for aromatic kick
  • 1 tsp. ginger, freshly grated or minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Add the salmon bites to the bowl and gently toss them to coat. Let marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease the basket with cooking spray. Place salmon bites in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Once cooked, remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

The salmon bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
