  • 9 oz. fresh or frozen spinach-filled ravioli
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Drain gently once they float.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the drained ravioli with the simmered sauce, ensuring they're coated.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer half the ravioli mixture and half the mozzarella. Top with remaining ravioli, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
