Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients
  

Group: Steak Bites
  • 1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
Group: Cream Sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Large cast-iron skillet

Method
 

  1. Season the sirloin chunks generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, push steak bites to one side, and add butter and minced garlic to the other side until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, scrape browned bits, add Parmesan, and season. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add steak bites back into the skillet, toss to coat in sauce, and simmer for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be prepared ahead and stored; any leftovers should be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
