  • 2 cups cold milk (preferably whole milk)
  • 1 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 8 oz container whipped topping
  • 1 box Nilla Wafers
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth and thickened.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully blended. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
  3. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until harmoniously combined.
  4. Layer half the Nilla Wafers in a 9x13-inch dish, add bananas, then half of the cream mixture. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve garnished with extra banana slices and crushed Nilla Wafers if desired.
